  • 27 Apr 10: UK's first Marine Academy selects Acamdex to build its new website!

    At the start of the year we successfully launched the public consultation website for the proposed new Marine Academy in Plymouth. The Secretary of State has now approved the Academy; and its sponsors the University of Plymouth, Cornwall College and Plymouth City have selected Acamdex to design and develop a full-scale, feature-rich website for the new Academy which will open in Sept this year.

    University of Plymouth, Cornwall College and Plymouth City Council are sponsoring a new marine-based Academy in Plymouth. Before approval from the Secretary of State a comprehensive public will take place. Acamdex were chosen to design and develop a consultation website for the project where members of the public can gain more information about the project, download documents and complete an online questionnaire.     We are pleased to announce that we have just launched a new Intranet for the national NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. The Intranet contains contacts directories, document libraries, resources and news items relating to the Programme and is accessible for NHS professionals throughout the UK.

  • 08 May 09: Acamdex teams up with EMPRA to offer complete FE comms service!

    EMPRA (Education Marketing & PR Associates) was one of Acamdex's earliest clients. We built their first website, helping to established them as the No. 1 social networking and news site for PR and marketing professionals working in the education sector. EMPRA has now relaunched with a new ambition. As MD Ruth Sparkes explains: “EMPRA is here to help those colleges deliver the right messages, to engage more students and to build their reputation, both in their communities and in the national arena." Acamdex will work alongside EMPRA, adding its online offering to EMPRA's new range of innovative PR and communications services. We even built EMPRA a new website - just so they could tell everyone!

  • 21 Oct 08: East Surrey College goes live with new careers website developed by Acamdex!

    We have been working with East Surrey College since 2005, and in that time we have designed and developed a number of websites for them: the main College website, the Intranet used by staff, and a dedicated website to engage employers. We are pleased that once again ESC chose us when it came to developing a careers website to recruit new staff. The site went live at the start of October.
